I Will - Survive

I have always had a will to survive,
focusing on my determination;
I possess a great will to strive and thrive.

To take the time for my word creation,
so my poems will forever endure;
focusing on my determination.

From my heart and soul my weeping words pour,
and I apply this passion to my life;
so my poems will forever endure.

But, often I feel in my heart a knife,
I have the character to stand up strong;
and I apply this passion to my life.

And, I know when I have done nothing wrong,
to just keep going and pull through- persist;
I have the character to stand up strong

All negativity I will resist,
I have always had a will to survive;
to just keep going and pull through- persist,
I possess a great will to strive and thrive.
