I Will Not Stop
I will not stop, I cannot, will not, can’t
Release the visions that fulfill my needs
Resign myself to life on edge of rant.
For there are seeds of truth that I must plant
will not be judged by words but by my deeds
I will not stop, I cannot, will not, can’t.
My words shall not become an endless chant
To numb the very heart of fevered seeds
Resign myself to life on edge of rant.
I’ll not become an idle sycophant
For I shall dine on more than ancient creeds
I will not stop, I cannot, will not, can’t.
My freedom is a gift no one can grant
I listen in the darkness as it pleads
Resign myself to life on edge of rant.
Soft voices growing louder haunt me still
Lest I become an echo of the past
I will not stop, I cannot, will not, can’t
Resign myself to life on edge of rant.
