I Was Given All
The fullness of God's mercy
was given to me
It enlarged my border of peace,
buffered me from all my enemies
This is what was given to me
Visions of infinite love
Sparkling brilliance of precious jewels
refracting pure faith
The living light of saintly hearts,
I willingly embraced with my weeping eyes
Always
on my knees looking up to the heavenly skies
Always
giving praise til my last breath on the day I die
This is what was given to me
His blood flowing down from the cross on Calvary
This is what was given to me
Forgiveness wrapped freely
in the blood stained cloth on His holy body
This is what was given to me,
given this ... given more ... given all
I was given a new name to be called
in the kingdom of God
I was given unending grace,
I was given all of Him
I was given the promise to one day see His face,
given the cup of mercy overflowing at the brim
This is what was given to me
I was given this, given all ...
and I deserved none of it at all
