I Wanted To Be Betty Grabel
Betty Grabel was a quintessential entertainer, pure Hollywood.
With a gorgeous smile and sexy dancing legs that looked fine in heels.
Her blonde curls appeared natural; who cares if they weren’t?
She lit up the fifties and sixties with her empathetic brown eyes.
The epitome of beauty, she was only one of my heroes.
I could have been here too if I had learned to dance or wear heels.
Watching her on the big screen brought joy to my childhood.
Many of my favorite dreams involved being Betty Grabel.
