I Want To Be a 57 Chevy

I was born in the year of the greatest car and the biggest flop. The ‘57’ Chevy had personality and power along with class. The greatest flop, the Edsel had few sales; nothing spectacular to offer; not even style. I took this as a sign that I could be great or a failure as well so, I asked myself what, could I offer this world? I find answers to that question, every day. When I am gone, I want people to remember me as a ‘57’ Chevy! Nature gives all life, Power to achieve great things; God gives them talent.

Ah, this is so much fun, '57 Chevy woman. The funniest part to me is that my husband and I are always saying "watch out, there's a Chevy driver" they seem to be the most risk-oriented, weaving in and out of traffic at a breakneck speed. Maybe because they have the sleekist, most sportiest cars? It is one of the few "generalizations" we allow ourselves.

I hope I don't drive like that! It's really a beautiful old car and having grown up with a cousins who worked on old cars, I've come to love antique car shows. Thanks.

Kiser. To be remembered as a 1957 means that, as long as there are modes of transportation, this uniquely and perfectly manufactured automobile, will be remembered.

Thanks; I had a friend who rebuilt them and they were one of the best muscle cars of the 50's.
