I Want It Its Mine - Passion Over Patience Contest

Walking past the art shop A picture she espied The price was way far too high I want it, its mine. Knew her patience was limited To wait for any time For this lovely possession I want it, its mine Then she remembered him An old flame, mega rich I wonder if I enchant him Will he succumb to my wish I want it, its mine Kept running through her mind As passionate love evoked time I will have it, will be mine. So patience over passion It doesn't have a chance With people with no emotion Who leads life a merry dance

Wonderful piece-- so many truths and comparatives in one. Your title reminds me of when my children were around two-- some of the first words they learnt.. "I want it-- it is mine !!"-- before the 'sharing' stage of childhood development :)
