I Wandered Lonely As a Cloud
“I wandered lonely as a cloud”*
and cried, “This life is but a shroud.”
The unrelenting isolation
intensified my firm fixation
on unseen chains and rife frustration.
What plunged me into this abyss?
What enemy decreed I miss
companionship with all its blessings?
I am the culprit, now confessing
I was the cause of my own stressing.
