I Think I'Ll Survive

Yes, I'm left handed, I think I'll survive, 
I can walk, I can talk and actually drive!! 
I can cut paper fine, even tie my own lace's, 
which is really fantastic , when competing in race's.

The shock of some people, the look of dismay! 
''wow your left handed, are you sure your ok''
its really no problem, I assure you, its cool,
I have no problem's with it, and neither should you.

So pointing it out, for people to see, 
is not very nice, so just let me be.
I'm happy being a lefty, I feel sorry for you,
but I wont point out, a thing about you.

Yes, I'm left handed, I will be okay,
I can make it through, another day.
I can raise 3 children, keep a dog and a cat,
not ashamed to be a lefty, don't you worry about that!

Robert Pettit March 15, 2014 at 12:15 PM Many great people were southpaws, including Paul McCartney, Leonardo DaVinci, Babe Ruth, Randy Johnson, et al. Nice write with decent rhyming. Just a couple of issues need correction: you don't need the apostrophes in your pluralized nouns such as "laces" and "races". Also, "your" in the second line of your second verse should be presented as either "you're" or "you are".
