I Still Believe Even Though

I've been let down so much Yet, I continue to care Trying to do my best in a life which is not fair My heart has been broken by those who've done me wrong With only my faith and hope to help me move along Each day finding the strength to help me pull through To continue believing is what I must do Doing my best as long as i'm here Even when i'm let down by those I hold dear To become what it is I hate just is not my style Instead all of my pain I disguise with a smile I believe there is a future that is meant for only me Where my soul's no longer tortured Where happiness sets me free.
