'i Shall Awaken My Heart'
I feel the w i t h e r i n g of seasons start-
It’s time to turn a leaf; AWAKEN MY HEART.
For no matter the reason or way,
may I find a brand new day.
I shall never forget,
my life of feared regret,
nor let my happiness sway.
No way could I ever give up on life,
be a mother and a d o r i n g wife-
For no matter if I sit or lay,
I know my existence will be okay-
MY HEART SHALL AWAKEN,
and never forsaken
with the love I can portray.
The feeling of h e a l i n g is here,
as I wipe away a remorseful tear-
For no matter if I leave or stay,
all the rules of my soul I'll obey.
I must always remember,
the new life of December…
I shall AWAKEN MY HEART today.
