I Sense Her Everywhere
I see her in the wispy figures of the dawn's mist
out over the lake, ferried away on gentle breezes
evaporating into the unknown...
I smell her in the husky aroma of a morning's
rich cup of coffee, as I sip her fragrance
awakening my every instinct...
I hear her voice in the still of a late afternoon's forest walk
in the winds whistling through bare branches high above me
in the underbrush yielding to my furtive steps...
I sense her everywhere I look, everywhere I turn
everywhere my spirit guides me, yearning for her
reaching for her deep in the bosom of life's embrace
