I See You Smiling

I see you smiling in my dreams, I feel your touch as if you were here, I smell your hair like once I did, I know you’re here, you just can’t be seen. I see us holding hands, I feel your lips on mine, I smell your skin like you were never gone, I know you’re around, you’ve always been. I see the future clearly now, I feel that I always want to be with you, I smell the flowers in our soon-to-be garden, I know it can’t happen, but it’s allowed to dream.
