I See
The calling to teach our youth. It draws those who see the abuse. Our society neglecting to create an equal opportunity. Many urban kids living in a broken community.
Failure to teach.
Failure to parent.
Failure to justice.
Failure to resources.
Failure to good role models. Failure to hire.
Failure to mental health. Failure to doctors.
Failure to churches.
Failure to protect.
Failure to encourage.
Failure to understand.
Failure to listen.
Failure to hold a little hand.
Failure to give love.
Failure to give hope.
Failure is not the youth, but adults who ignore the truth.
Why does a young person have to chose between gang protection or to be bullied and beaten as the only other exception?
Why can't a student get mental health counseling at school before fighting becomes their only tool?
Why do principals have to cut programs and academics while teacher unions go on strike becoming a normal epidemic?
Why are families consisting of a single mom or aunt or grandma, where are the men who say they are a good example to follow?
Why is the entertainment industry allowed to glorify killings, drugs and gangs through music, movies and video games?
I will teach our urban youth.
But please society address some of these issues. I can't stop all the killings, there is too much abuse.
