I Saw Your Face

I saw your face in a dream last night, so peaceful you looked, standing in that light. I touched your cheek, and held your hands so tight, you looked the same as always, everything was right. I didn't want to awake, for I knew you would leave, promise me please, you will come back, and see me. Everything was quite, I did not hear a sound, now that I remember, no one else was around. Our time together, just you, and I, God's way of drying, these tears in my eyes.
