I Resolve

As we approach the beginning of 2023, I meditate upon another year for me Thinking how I might a better person be Clinging to my desire to be utterly free. I resolve to live patiently in the community. Life is more than any one person can see, So, I must mindfully accept others’ identity Trying to embrace them, and never to flee. I resolve to cultivate feelings of positivity Maintaining inner peace, for this is a key To living in our rapidly changing society, Where factions abound who cannot agree. I resolve to learn about my family history Helping grandchildren with a family tree Encouraging them to write their story, Teaching them to love each other, finally.

I suppose a good resolution for 2023 is to be more like Milt. Now that your book is closed, I cherish the fact that you have left behind many breadcrumbs to help the rest of us find our way in life. RIP, friend

Very aspirational resolutions Milt! I have been trying to practice very similar ones for a while and will double down next year and the little bit of success I've had feels really good!! Happy Saturday and have a fun trip!

Thanks so much, Mike. I'm looking forward to it. I know that my resolutions are aspirational, but if I can at least try to hold onto them through the year and apply them I'll be a better person. Have a marvelous weekend, friend.

Well, I could've written ten resolutions in a list, but then would have broken them one by one by the end of next year. This way, I resolved to do three things that will better my life and the lives of those around me. If I fail, I fail, but I'll have given it my best.
