I Never Said I Loved You
Words cut deep and wound a heart
Love turns to hate and we break apart
Walking the night streets with solitude
Wondering how to live without you
I never said I loved you
I always knew you knew
I never thought I would be without you
I always knew you knew
Friends all know what I never say
I am a fool letting you get away
The days are cold and the nights are long
Your too hurt to forgive I'm too stubborn to be wrong
I never said I loved you
I always knew you knew
I never thought I would be without you
I always knew you knew
Others in my bed leave me unfulfilled
Living within a daze what is real
My heart is numb and my brain is drunk
Alone and scorn I am that pitiful punk
I never said I loved you
I always knew you knew
I never thought I would be without you
I always knew you knew
Messages by the hundreds I've ignored
Fallen so hard I hug the floor
I feel a hand upon my face
That touch my heart can not replace
I awaken from tears you shed
You embrace me and hold my head
Listening to the beat of your heart
Tears I held begin to depart
I always knew you knew
As I say...I Love You.
