I Miss the Old You

you have broken me all the way down i have no more to give you have stolen the innocence of this love you have created a monster where it used to be pure i loathe the very scent of your presence i gag upon the thought of you breathing on me but i can’t live without you i can’t function without your words say it out loud say you want to hurt me let me hear the words dripping off of your tongue tell me you are in it to steal my soul the truth is the only thing that keeps me alive without it i can only wonder without it i want to tear my heart out without the very words from your lips i do not exist i float from heart to heart draining the very beat you rely on
