I Love the Rain

Rain keeps on knocking on my window, As if it wants to chat with me, I wander, if I let it in, What would it want to say to me. So I got up and cracked the window, The rain walked in and so did she, I could smell her hair, I could hear her thoughts, I could sense her standing next to me. I love the rain, I will forever, When it rains she thinks of me.

There's a great quality of genuineness in this poem, yet it's a light and lovely expression of affection. Write on!
