I Love Coffee! (Eap)

Mmmm, steamy, hot and black.....I love it...anywhere, any kind! In the Starbucks coffee house, on the corner of 3rd and Pine... As the radio plays the oldies...while we're driving Route 99 With the family around a table, and some lovely friends of mine And the best is in my comfy chair...a mug...a book.....DIVINE!!

All my life since childhood. I was raised on it. Found out it was easier to quit smoking than to give up coffee for lent. Vince

A light, deft touch, my dear. I like this. Divine is a winning ending. I value your remarks especially because you are on the whole a very GOOD poet. It is my honor to be read by you and some others on this site. Regards, Gerard.

Okay and yuck, you really drink it black? It made me shiver. You're hard core aren't ya. Me, I like candy coffee, enough sugar and milk to turn it the nices shade of tan.

Great poem and tribute to us coffee addicts, Carrie!...Most of my family can't drink what I brew because I prefer mine strong!...Takes two tablespoons of coffee-mate to make it change color (if the spoon don't melt first!) Now I'm hearing that coffee may be healthy in 'moderate' amounts...I wish they'd make up there minds! - Tim
