I Love Bugs - Nursery Rhyme

I love collecting ladybugs and garden snails and slimy slugs But mommy hates me digging worms she doesn’t like them, how she squirms! I love to watch bright butterflies I’ll see them flying in blue skies Along with buzzing bumble bees - Does pollen ever make them sneeze! I believe that your bugs are bugs 'as nouns only.' That is, they don't work as verbs: because they are so sweet, your bugs couldn't possibly 'bug' anyone! Sweet, gw

Hi. Love your ladybugs. I think of them as ladybirds. Red with black spots or black with red spots. The young ones will enjoy this and paint their own pictures. Tony X

thanks Tony i too know them as ladybirds but bugs rhymed with slugs lol. i recall seeing pale yellow and black spotted ones and black with red spots when i was young , only ever see the common red one now:-( hugs Jan xx
