I Linger Long, On That Bountiful Feast I Still Dine Moon's illuminations through dark window of sorrows cast moments of relief and "Hope for my tomorrows". Looking out, stars parade around truly wondrous scene stopping foulest of shadows sent, to sad soul demean. Back down to earth, into night forest seeking eyes gaze searching for deeper healing from "Nature's darkened maze". As moon's light gave rise to think, all is not a lost cause I thank heaven's beauty giving this comforting pause. Such peaceful silence next broken by a faint- Who, Who an owl has spoken, "Hold this gift now given to you". Heart skips a beat, knowing this is a heavenly sign waves of sweetest joy surge forth, "Saying all will be fine"! With hope for my tomorrows, saying all will be fine I linger long, on that bountiful feast I still dine. Robert J. Lindley, 6-04-2018 Sonnet, (13/13), (When Dreams Gift Greater Sight)

those with a passion for natural Beauty....that list must include me....for I could spend hours awed by the flowers and the trees....only the stars and the sky rival these....and I am just happy to be a witness....for they relieve stress which improves fitness....awesome job mr Robert....

Thank you my good friend. Yes, life is a mystery, as the future oft holds such surprises(both good and bad). Yet we know and understand that mystery is a hopeful part of living.

13 syllables per line looks like a tough write, but your meter flows very nicely. You make it look easy.

Yes Robert, your wonderful line "Hold this gift now given to you" presented by the owl...is a connection with the universe...I found myself wandering yesterday down a deer trail thru a swamp bog yesterday and became surrounded by floating Monarchs in their milkweed rookery...I felt the same as you in this amazing sonnet...

Thank you my friend. Nature is as much a part of man as man is a part of it.
