I Know That Person

I know that person, my aunt said after she read my poem.
I am related, she’s a cousin, she’s exactly like that!
She is horrible, her ways are overbearing. She is arrogant.
She is rude, despicable!
I cannot believe how you captured her essence!
I telephoned my mother the second she left my house.
Remember how I was afraid to show Aunt Winnie that poem?
I was shaking with anxiety for no reason.
She did not recognize herself in the least.

I wish I had thought of this. But, I did write a book which featured one of my aunts. She died at 102, so now I could let family read the book, as they'd get a good laugh out of it.
