I Hate Bugs - Wbm

I hate putting up with bugs,
From ants to roaches or slugs.
They all creep me out,
And some make me shout.
Life would be great without bugs.

Whether they crawl or they fly,
I wish that they would just die.
I know some are good,
And misunderstood,
But I hate them, that's no lie.

Enjoyed your poem about bugs and agree. Uh oh, though I have to admit I like bumble bees and dragon flies and lightning bugs, and butterflies. Roaches yuk, ticks, chiggers, flies, wasps, etc., can stay out of my house.

I agree totally! What fun, energetic lines you wrote for the way we definitively feel! I had fun reading this. (I learned on a documentary that the earth could survive w/o people but NOT w/o bugs so I try to be less anti-bugs providing they stay out of my house.) All the best ... CayCay

I concur, bugs are a pain, even if they keep their distance; I don't trust them especially in the dark. Today I drove our second car which doesn't get a lot of action and stopped to get gas. Opened the gas tank to find hornets; they had actually built a nest under the lid. Knocked the nest out and sprayed it with gasoline; there must have been 6-8 of them and they scattered.

Hilarious and so true! We just had the exterminators come and said we would pay them an extra fee if they could get rid of the wasps on our porch. They did not tell us that they were charging us three times what they normally do before they DID charge us three times what they normally did. Welcome home!
