I Had Known
I HAD KNOWN
The spring air crisp and clear grazed the drape of the dusk,
wafted like butterflies through the trees of the green park.
I saw you come flying on their fairy wings in collage of color,
setting sun shining on your face laced by luring locks of hair
told my destiny of desire that a new day would soon dawn,
dew glint of my love the meadow of your heart would adorn.
You were made for me, would be mine forever, I had known.
