I Feel a Change Coming On
I FEEL A CHANGE COMING ON
I feel a change coming on, Jusus up my *ss winds blowing
Repentance needs, in the gutter my change I am throwing
I’m hoping some poor soul passing will take my guilt away
And praying the Lord’s view on me will in some way, sway
Yus, Lord I am running up that mountain until the top I get
Running up that mountain so fast God has to catch me yet
Now I know sure I ain’t no sucker and, I ain’t no man’s fool
My time will come; as I’m caught in that deceiver’s whirlpool
My head banging, body bruised from this life’s force vortex
There is no use in trying to put my sinning into any context
I knew all of this was coming, so I’m holding on fast & tight
Until my change is spent and another so takes on my blight
And the Lord gives up looking for me, I live for another day
With my feet back on the ground, as I escape this life’s fray
Sinning is worth it, as long as you really know how to use it
I feel a change coming on; with the Lords wrath I did outwit
