I dOn'T kNow U tEll mE bET U cAN'T chew gum in your sleep Y can't you wear gloves on your feet Does your mind or stomach tell you what to eat Do you eat dandelions cause their sweet I dOn'T kNow U tEll mE What really happens when you cross the street Run the stop sign, race pass the light In a 1967 Impala racing at a stock meet A speeding ticket you must fight All day long, all day night I dOn'T kNow U tEll mE Can caterpillars eat yellow rocks Do ants play in the hay And what about crazy socks Hugging swollen ankles And by the time I git to Phoenix I dOn'T kNow U tEll mE Rockets will be engaged Mouse will be like bankers I dOn'T kNow U tEll mE Counting a batch of money While bees and bears fight over honey Does your mind or stomach tell you what to eat Do you eat dandelions cause their sweet I dOn'T kNow U tEll mE What really happens when you cross the street Run the stop sign, race pass the light All day long, all day night And is this a rhymed, or is it not Cuz none of them words don't make no cents Juz a play of words, I don't no what I meant Do U understand can you see I dOn'T kNow U tEll mE 11/11/17 by James Edward Lee Sr.
