G'day John! Thanks for the comment...I suppose I can be a 'cupcake', yet I can still choose on whose plate I'll sit.:) Perhaps 'church' isn't for you, but you might still feel its pull and music? You seem to be fighting an internal battle. Faith shouldn't be a battle zone, yet it can still give you courage and strength. Wishing you the best, John. Mikki

and can I just please tell you that in biblical times the church was a gathering of people who met together and not in a building it can be in open space, its was where they met to worship and to pray together and God promises that where two or more people meet in his name he will be there also, that promise still applies today, God will be with you my friend he will never leave you even if you don't go in church, it's by faith that we are saved, anyway God bless you

aww some churches make us feel this way, my dad had strong faith and he could not make it to church much, I think it's what is in your heart that counts for a lot, so if we have faith and believe in God and Jesus, he still loves us and he understands that sometimes we just dont fit in, my dad wrote a poem once and in it he worte that faith was not just praying or going to church each day it's in believeing,if you believe in Jesus you will still go to heaven, God bless you from diane
