"God loves each of us as if there were only one of us." - St. Augustine
I don’t believe in magic.
I believe in hope.
I believe in grace.
I believe in love.
I believe in One who created –
All the world, the entire earth, all of us.
I don’t believe in magic.
I believe in prayer.
I believe in praise.
I believe in thanks.
I believe in Him who forgave my sin,
The One who gives life that will never end.
I don’t believe in magic.
I believe in the One who came to earth,
To bring our souls into a relationship,
To give us all a second chance,
To restore our souls with His gentle grace,
To free us of our darkest dejection.
I don’t believe in magic.
I believe in this man who holds my soul,
Offering peace that I can’t turn away,
Compassion that lasts forever and always,
Salvation that will bring me from my grave,
It seems magical, but it’s more powerful – it’s love!
Love that abides forever in His presence –
Where I know that I’m accepted, never rejected.
Where I know that there is peace beyond my understanding.
Where I know the light that falls quietly, reflecting…
What it means to believe completely – believe in the One
Who created me to become a child of the King, a child of LOVE!
