In flames, feelings bruised my spirit,
Maze of ethereal lights,
Delicate as the dew who whispers soundless poetry,
Pouring out gentle into the moments,
Soundless adventures, dancing
In rhythms, singing through the edges of a shadow,
Trembling on transparent truths,
Authenticity rising from the silence,
Announcing the beautiful seas who provide peace,
To every soul who hears the music playing out
In promises from a living God, a Creator
Who gives us a reason to hope….
Blazing with the sparks of a moment
Before my heart was sure,
Before my soul knew the meaning of grace,
Hesitating in the burning nights,
Glowing like epiphanies, surrounded by stirrings of light,
Gentle as the butterfly wings, unhurried,
And meant to praise the King of Kings,
Spirit’s wanderings, feelings as wild as the past,
When I wasn’t sure of the way love could last,
Because I know One who is alive,
One who is like the blessing poured out on a life,
Real love knows the way to bring hope,
Peace like the dew, dripping with love,
Love should last…
Dazzling sighs, nourishing my soul
Heart healing – spirit soaring,
Inviting the intimacy that comes with hope,
Affection between faith and love,
The connection between God and us,
Warming the spirit,
Like a song, more than feeling,
It concedes to the believing, the forever,
That agrees – our souls have wings,
Our life has a purpose, warmed,
By the dreams we dream, the roses we see,
In the garden of lessons, teaching us to be,
More light than shadow,
More alive than the melodies
Who hold us captive, always a prisoner,
Of life’s choices,
Where are our voices….
Fires, gentle flames, burn away,
Doubts, disgrace, despair
With the heavy syrup of joy and caring,
Kindness mingled with faith,
Forever in the words of a smile,
Forever in the eyes of a child,
Forever, seeking to bring the heart light,
Forever, silencing the weary thoughts,
Forever, I cling to His hand,
With the assurance that it is all as He planned
Forever on the wings of a design
Only God Himself could have devised….
He created me for His own purpose
And He is the light that reflects my colors,
Colors He breathed through me,
When He gave life to me and assured me
Love would abide with me,
He would invite me into a relationship,
More beautiful than any connection,
A relationship more potent than the moon
Has with the skies, the stars,
More beautiful than the sea with the sand,
More amazing than the leaves with the woods,
More light than I could ever know without this love
Love that inspires me to praise Him through it all,
Love that moves me to love like He loves,
Love that rouses my heart to a new hope,
Love that is alive in me because I know the King of Kings,
The One who made everything,
The One who saved me from the darkest destiny,
The One who gave me a reason to believe,
The One who called me to be a friend to the King!
