I Climb
I climb another mountain today, each step, each hour
I try to show my face, like a fresh new blooming flower
I am thankful for the sun is shining bright
Relishing in the oncoming warmth and light
Reflecting back on times of the past…
Stunned by new things now that last and last
Odd how things in life connect like a web, so fragile
Steps taken years ago, can relate from mile to mile
Some things in life so solid, other things I question why?
Unexpected events turn into whirlwinds, not passing by
But I know from scenery before, that I have learned a lot
And with these lessons I move on, a fight to what I fought
