I Can'T Sleep Tonight
I CAN’T SLEEP TONIGHT
I can’t sleep tonight, thinking of others
All those lost hurt sisters and brothers
I really want; to wish the rest of us well
But; it doesn’t reflect well, others in hell
Whose inner souls, having no good rest
While; we are as enjoying life to its best
Life to me is just a b*tch and so uneven
Others suffering without; a good reason
How can we; enjoy this, Christmas cheer
When just down the road; others in fear
Spending so much money; to give praise
As a child long dead; we all give appraise
His heart wants you; to give to all others
Open all your hearts, to the lost mothers
Whose children cry at this so festive time
Of celebrations; nothing, short of a crime
We have got it wrong, can’t you just see
Give to all others; and, set all others free
So nation upon nation; can all sleep tight
As protect the unprotected; on this night
Give thanks; and, praises to what we got
And keep thinking of those who have not
Christmas for me is going in the trash bin
Cause unless all are happy; it is just a sin
