I Can Return
I can return.
I can regain rationality.
Gradually I'll return to work,
Doing a little more ev'ry day.
I can regain my focus of mind,
Doing only one thing at a time,
Being patient that all will get done.
I can regain all my energy.
I will cook and improve my diet,
Gradually build good sleep habits,
Until I'm healthy and strong again.
I can regain stable emotions.
I will not brood in bleak seclusion,
Nor keep my yearnings pent up inside.
I can help and serve others again;
But, I must not disregard myself.
An empty jar has nothing to share.
I can return.
