I Can Not Stop Thinking of You
Thinking of you
I can’t stop thinking of you.
And your wind-blown hair
Shining in the night breeze.
Your pretty blue eyes
Reflecting heaven’s stars,
While looking my way,
Inviting tomorrow,
Still embracing today.
Strangers one night
Strolling amid a crowd
The tide rinsing bare feet.
Two silhouettes prancing
Silent excitement.
Eyes dancing connect.
Inviting tomorrow,
Still clinching today.
Thinking of you
I can’t stop thinking of you.
Fireworks bursting.
Heat flashing in the dark,
While soft-spoken dreams
Echo to forever.
Alive and magical
Our souls connected.
Thinking of you
I can’t stop thinking of you.
Today brings tomorrows.
Merriment waning.
Now, alone, my time passes.
Come, Fourth of July,
Please say you’ll meet again!
Please say you’ll hold me again.
Thinking of you
I can’t stop thinking of you.
Oh, Fourth of July,
I can’t stop thinking of you.
Please say you’ll meet me again...
Please say you’ll meet me again...
Please say you’ll meet me again.
