I Can Not Change

I Can Not Change I was born the way I am, I will not change. Don't ask me to be - what I can not be. Accept me the way I am. If you love me - let me be and if you don't then set me free. I can not change, my love I give to you freely. From you, I will take only what you want to give. If we stay together - I will be true. I love this GIANT bit of Language, true expression. By the way, on the poem. "Liquid Handcuffs" but Sorry Lucilla, That used to be a poem but I sold it for stupid money. so It doesn't belong to me for distribution anymore. This is only a note.....:) Please try another poem....only a few have been deleted.

When I was younger, I had to live with people who tried to change me, and I just couldn't be someone I'm not.... I love this wonderful poem, Lucilla! I'm adding it to my favorites!.... I wrote something similar titled, "The Real Me".
