Parental Approval in Marriage - Part 2

I asked your Father (I asked your Father not to love you) If he would take this love away This love I had for you away It seems to be dismayed I seem to be yet instilled Stronger in this love for you, I feel (I asked your Father not to love you) I never was looking for a love So many familiarity My minds cleared yet blur With love anchored (I asked your Father not to love you) I asked your Father Why? I must love you No! Answers just feeling of I must do (I asked your Father not to love you) I asked your Father If he would take this love away This love I had for you away It seems to be dismayed I seem to be yet instilled Stronger in this love for you, I feel I earnestly righteously love you (I asked your Father not to love you) 1/12/23 Written words by James Edward Lee Sr. 2023©
