I Angel Will Be There For Thee.
As I Angel, look down upon thee,
Your body battered, bleeding crimson,
Your heart torn but still beating,
And your soul shattered, weary,
But still with a strong will,
Fighting to carry on,
Much you have beheld tonight,
Many questions about today,
Ones you know will never be answered,
Soul so heavy, a soul so old,
Even though housed in a young host,
As your Angel, all I want to do,
Is carry you far from a world,
Not yet ready for your blinding light,
Though sadly, I know,
To do such a thing,
Would be an injustice too all,
For many thousands,
More likely millions, will perish,
If you are not there,
To contradict your beloved siblings,
Steadily growing darkness,
You are not ready yet to leave life,
This I know all to well,
Having tried many times to snatch you away,
So I shall leave you a gift,
A small, light kiss on the brow,
To lighten your burden for a while,
And let you race head long,
Into your powerful destiny, my beloved,
But never fear when your journey is through,
I, Angel shall be there to accompany thee,
My love,
My warrior,
My chosen.
