I Am Off To Buy a Suit Today

I am off work to buy a suit today. For I have a funeral to soon attend. I think a black suit or maybe a gray. I must look for help to find my way, To my one suit of grief to buy and then-- I am off work to buy a suit today. Then in my closet, I hope it shall stay A fancy fig leaf from a darken bin I think a black suit or maybe a gray. Only we the living will have a say Of the coat or dress in which to ascend I am off work to buy a suit today. We will need no attire with grand array A farewell costume for a departing friend. I think a black suit or maybe a gray. It is for the dead we can only pray While we the living must wait to attend. I am off work to buy a suit today I think maybe black or a stately gray.
