I Am Never Alone

Velvet creature that royally purrs Her eyes gleam in the pitch darkness With a secret that is only hers A pink tongue just made for grooming Her nose she brings for a tender snuggle My time with her is all consuming She’s a small ship of total serenity As on my chest she quietly sleeps Filling my life~with love a~plenty ^*^ Dedicated to my cat, Queen Irene. 4/25/2022

There is something to be said for when a cat claims a human as "their" person. I have had many in my story... I miss them when they pass... tears stream as I write this thinking of my most recent loss PAV (Piss-and-vinegar) aptly named for his way in life. Sad as I am right now... Thanks for reminding me of him in this moment! Regards A.S.

What a great comment, are very much alike. I cry very hard when I lose a cat.. and I have lost many. But let us always remember there are Jackson shelters that need a home and they need you really love. I love the name of your cat by the way pav… so unique. My cat picks up my sad modes in my happy mode too.. today. I’m kind of sad so I can tell she’s sad. But honestly, there’s nothing like a cat. They are such a source of comfort and joy don’t you agree? I know you do.. Thank you for coming by I needed to have a comma today. I don’t need 40,one will do. Please have a good day.AS! And I will plan on having one as well. Thank you for thinking of me..Pangie xx

Greetings Silpika. Wonderful to be blessed by your visit! This is my 29th cat. I began my attachment to them in 1970! A Friend brought me a calico as a gift,I loudly protested to take it back. He said try out the cat for one night. Here we are in 2022. At times I had four cats at a time. Now, one is it. I am pleased you liked this. Yours, Pangie

Dearest Tim and Abigail. What an outstanding share. So glad you feed the lovely animals! After all, they, like us, exist on the same planet. I must admit feeling rather”silly” writing about her again! But she is a joy and carries my heart. Queen Irene was a moniker bestowed on her by Ann Gilmore. Her remarks are above. Might I humbly suggest you read her poetry. A close Poet friend who pens, warmth and heartfelt poetry, Tim! Queen must know I am writing you! She alighted on my chest as I began-)). What a sweet poet, you are. Have a great day with your Abigail, smack full of joy! Yours, Panagiota

I know, my little Ginger does the same with me. They are something else. "Her nose she brings for a tender snuggle My time with her is all consuming" lovely, sensitive writing. Well done. Joe.

Aw...,Joe! Ginger is a purrfect name)). Cats must be Earth Angels! I can only write from my heart. Words, just splash my heart on a page. That’s why no trophy is needed. The satisfaction from my open heart is the prize. I think you know what I mean! Yours, Pangie. Sending hugs to you both.
