I Am Green

I Am Green

Sea-irises, overzealous.
Look in my eyes. Don’t be jealous.
This poet’s ebb and flow spotlight.
‘Til death do we part - my birthright.

By definition always green,
Under God’s umbrella; serene.
Attuned to forever-young-springs.
Forevermore learning new things.
