I Am a Super Woman
I'M WOMAN MORE THAN A WOMAN, BUT A SUPER HUMAN. ????
I am a woman, the assumed weak of her kind
I'm a woman born and brought up in the crevices of rocks and stones
I am a woman, raised with plates of less flesh and more bones
I am a woman who made my way through the clumsy jungle
I trekked the road so bumpy and windy
Washed by the harshest Storm of life
I'm a woman bathed and oiled by the hardship of life
I'm a woman, a tough woman.
I'm a woman, that fragile woman forged into steel
I rose above the storm, many that would have consumed me therein
I flew on the wings of eagles, rose above the clouds and made my tent in a foreign land
I strangled my fear and buried it below the core
Believe me when I say I'm not just a woman.
I was once drowned, i made it back alive, so I fear no threat of oceans no more
I was once grilled and drilled by the rough palm of my situations
So I'm made of tough skin
I fear no circumstance that wears an ugly face
I'm a woman, rough and tough
I'm a woman who once dwelt in wealth
I'm a woman who once had all she wanted
Blame not this woman who was once reckless
It is the choice I made with my life, and i am responsible for it all
I'm a woman who takes it all and leaves none behind
I'm a woman, the very unique type, that you should know.
I serve my flesh in plates and my blood in cups
I try to please men known and unknown
I clean my sweat with my hat and use it to fan the crowd
So unfortunate, I see none of them when I am out alone in the cold
Many mountains I've climbed with no anchor
Many oceans I've crossed without a sailor
In the land of the cold I've made fire by myself for myself
I ran my race alone without expecting any praises
Times my strength got drained and my hope got fizzled out
I picked up myself and boosted my courage
I climbed back to the top after I had fallen through the valleys
It is my race, I'll run it
It is my cross, I'll carry it
It is my life, so I live it
It is my course, so I face it
I fear no loneliness and the thoughts of being forgotten
This is a path I'm used to
This is a path I've thread before
This is a part of my life, my fate my destiny
I'm coming out renewed and refurbished
I'll bear the heat and won't be roasted
I'll swim in the waters and never be drowned
I'll wade the storm and not be crushed
I won't let this moment define me
I'm here to define who I am in the face of all these hurdles
I'm a woman, more than a woman, I'm super human
