I Am a Believer

As she said, good-by to her baby, the tears were filling her eyes, he was leaving the arms of his mother, to a place, where so many have died. He just stood there, looking at his mother, trying hard to be strong, and brave, I am a soldier, who is willing to fight, the time has come now, mother, everything will be all right. I am a believer, and I know how much I mean to you, but mother, there are some things, that a man, just has to do. I've learned so much about life, and now I'm ready, to face the battle that is waiting for me. I am a believer, and I have been for many years, so now mother, you can dry those sad tears. I am a soldier, and I have a job to do, but please mother, remember, I will always love you. Now dry your eyes, and I'll be home, before you know it, I am a believer, and I have been for many years, I'm waiting mother, so please dry, your sad, sad tears.
