Ancient texts and books have been written through the years, thousands of years ago they came with fears; from an alien world, and from their space ship hundreds of males unfurled; who looked like monsters from the underworld, and human women had tears. Those men came to mate to increase their failing race, the women they would hunt down and chase; but running was in vain, human men who tried to stop the rapes were slain; the delivery of the babies brought death and pain, but once born the child was taken into space. Taken to a planet in the outer reaches of space so deep, but many women wanted those babies to keep; and hid them until the aliens at last did depart, the children turned out to be smart; each descendant with intelligence that set them apart, and we build massive monuments steep. ____________________________ January 12, 2018 Poetry/Rhyme/I, Descendant Copyright Protected, ID 18- 9820-03-01 All Rights Reserved. The words you’ve chosen paint a tragic picture and anguish is transposed to the page. Very imaginative and descriptive with an air of fear that surrounds your thoughts with its presence. Emile.
