Hurricane Had Come and Gone
Hurricane Had Come and Gone
Hurricane was coming and we were waiting there
Continually rained while wind blew everywhere
And dark clouds did pass by high in the sky
Things down all around we had started to tie.
While wild wind blew up and down the beach
Seagulls all around forever seemed to screech
And pelicans preferred land further away
For a while longer there they all would stay.
Hurricane turned northeast heading out to sea
And am sure and certain we will have to agree
Pick up things here and there we must begin
So where we live can be back to normal again.
