Hazard tropical storm Horrible spin chilling Howling turbulent winds Heavy severe flooding Havoc mass departure Homes property destroyed Homeless inhabitants 2/17/2017

Congrats, Eve...you have described it well. I've lived through a few hurricanes but nothing as devastating as Katrina. The devastation was just heartbreaking...hugs, Rhonda

Eve, a great description of hurricanes using this restrictive form. It's been a few years since I've experienced one, but I've never been affected by one of Katrina's measure. Congrats on your win! Blessings, Kim

Powerful Pleiades poem, Eve. The pictures, though visually stunning, don't do justice to the unfathomable damage of human lives. Very strong write. Love and hugs to you.

OMG it must have been horrible for all those poor people, what a nightmare, mind you at the moment we could do with some of that cold wet weather it is so damn hot here and humid, nicely written little verse Eve, hope you are well, take care.......Vera

Oh it was so horrible. And yes, I see you used that word horrible. Great way to approach the contest! Eve, please tell me in a soupmail or in a comment (since I do not see replies), did you try to friend me at FB. I want to be sure someone is not using your name falsely as happened to me last week with Craig. And I thought you were already my friend there, but if you are not, I will try to find that friend request and reply to it.
