Hungry Heart
My heart does feel the hunger
That your absence now creates
My smiles are put on hold
For my best friend my soul mate
I'll see you in my dreams
The best my mind can make
Each second that we're apart
My heart does truly ache
You consume my every thought
As I sit alone in fear
Praying that you are ok
Wishing that you were here
My words are all I have
I write them down for you
I hope you know that I love you
And the words I write are true
