Yes, always :) <3 Sometimes I've gone to the grocery store and the clerks and other shoppers just lifted an otherwise dreary day, other times I've stepped into the grouchy mud puddles of unkind people who wanted to make others unhappy. To know we have the power to change a person's day for the better in kindness is such a blessing. I've met wonderful people who just shower sunshine on others, and those are the people who I want to emulate in my own heart. Once I had a cartful of groceries at Christmastime, I let a man who had a few things in his hands cut in front of me and you'd have thought I'd given him the moon! He went on and on about 'good karma' it lifted my day as well as his :)

Yes, we have to get away from the sweat and debt of the materialistic side of the Holidays, or they can be defeating. Our family likes to have a Family Christmas Presentation. In the past we have rented a church with a stage, and another time a clubhouse at a daughter's home that had a pretty decent area to use for our little play. This year I'm eying the backyard or the garage and that may be easier, on me anyway. We will try to make our gifts except for a few needed items. I hope we can make a lot of happy memories; those are the best gifts to treasure always :)

Now let's see if I'm up to task in my upward goal of creating gifts for all the family, cooking for them was a success, twenty-two of them anyway :) Happily, I had many eager helping hands, and it was a joy!
