Human Nature
It is human nature to squeeze,
to poke and feel, questioning
if imagined or real; a part of
creation, our shared mystery –
Identifying layers to grasp and
peel...using the power of mind,
sorting and labeling all that
we find – no measure nor weight
as yet to the soul, looking beneath
and above...as the atheist scientist
probes a heart
to prove his love....
