To forgive is divine so they say, and if asked we'd not have it any other way. But when wrong is done to us then we fuss. Instead of forgiving others, keeping our friendships fresh, we want our pound of flesh!

Congratulations on your well deserved win Mark with your well written poem, sometimes forgiveness is so difficult all depends on the situation though still desirable if possible. :))

Roy, thank you for your wise observation and kind encouragement. Congratulations on your win too! Your poem "Human Nature" left me with a sense of contentment - "there's only one goal to live, to love, grow old die with peace in our heart." The older I get the more appealing that is to me. Of course, I don't plan on dying :)
