Hum-E-Verse

Homonyms here are about writing by sounds and not words, per se. The sound at the end of the line/sentence would be similar to the sound at the beginning of the next line/sentence. The sound may not necessarily encompass the physical aspects of a word per se, ex: column/call him. Also, the last sound at the end of the paragraph/stanza would be similar to the sound at the beginning of the paragraph/stanza. I found this challenging, maybe not to you.

An impressive temple from times distant past, passed o'er mysteriously by its tales as we've weaved via a display of hieroglyphic labyrinths. Lab prints will be capable of dating the period The Id, who tends the crew, is at an iconic column. Call him by his alias, Frank, a senseless soul. Sole, by choice, as guides speaking aloud, allowed his ignorance to surface as egos ... he goes into a trance, acting like an imp.

outstanding job. The last line captured my attention...Is Id real or part of some ancient building you know about?

The Id is referencing the characteristics of the crew chief, Frank, which covers the second half of the verse. The first half covers the archeological discovery itself. Rhyming by sound aspects, is very difficult. Thanks, Sara, for your valuable time, hoping you might give it a try, my friend. Aloha, William
