Hugs Are Priceless
Surely, its best days had long passed.
The garage door had breathed its last.
Now, we needed a quote for the repair.
Our funds were saying, "Handle with care".
We called a friend in the garage door business.
We knew that his character and work were the best.
What happened next took us by a pleasant surprise.
Something was cooking beyond anything we could devise.
The new door was installed, and our excitement was revived.
A new look had come to our entry, and property pride had arrived.
The office indicated that their boss would give us a price,
but we never imagined he would be so generous and nice.
We were moved when he informed us what his charges would be.
You see, he said, "Just a hug would be payment enough for me".
